This "Oracle Solaris Cluster 4.2 Advanced Administration" training provides System Administrators, Database Administrators, and Support Personnel with advanced configuration, and maintenance, procedures for Oracle Solaris Cluster.

This course is intended for students who already have experience installing and configuring basic applications for Oracle Solaris Cluster. The course begins with upgrade procedures, followed by custom data service configurations along with recovery and maintenance tasks, such as adding and deleting nodes. In addition, the course covers the role of Geographic Edition for disaster recovery. The course also provides several use cases.

In addition, the system administrator will be exposed to the use of Oracle Solaris Cluster in Oracle SuperCluster engineered system to provide high-availability solution for various optimized solutions.

You will engage in lab exercises that will walk you through critical tasks associated with performing some of the key Oracle Solaris Cluster 4.x advanced administration tasks.
